CLI reference

All commands available in the vela CLI.

vela deploy

Builds the current project and promotes it to the target environment.

Usage
vela deploy [--env <name>] [--prod] [--no-build]
  • --env <name> — deploy to a specific environment (defaults to preview)
  • --prod — promote straight to production
  • --no-build — reuse the last build output

vela env

Manage environment variables and access tokens for a project.

Usage
vela env list
vela env set <KEY>=<VALUE> [--env <name>]
vela env rm <KEY>
vela env token create [--ttl 24h]
Tokens created with vela env token create are scoped to a single project and expire automatically — prefer them over personal credentials in CI.

vela logs

Streams logs for the current project.

Usage
vela logs [--env <name>] [--follow] [--since 1h]

vela rollback

Reverts an environment to a previous deployment.

Usage
vela rollback [--env <name>] [--to <deployment-id>]
